The Assamese Department of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of the Visvavidyalaya started the monthly lecture program from 13th May 2023. The first lecture was on “Literature and National Consciousness in the Assamese Magazines of the Nineteenth Century”.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Shri Bipul Deka of Bapuji College. The lecture was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the Visvavidyalaya Dr. Tarun Chandra Borah. The event was conducted by Dr. Madhurjyya Mondit Baruah, Head of Department and Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell. The event was attended by Hon’ble Registrar of the University Dr. Kamalakant Dutta, eminent playwright, Literary Pensioner of Government of Assam Sri Karuna Deka, departmental professors, faculty and students of Krishnaguru College.
